MY WARdrobe Goes Way Out West with Backstage Rider

MY WARdrobe, Backstage Rider, and an Indie Goon

Ignore the beard and bare chest and focus (demurely) on the chest (shirt, actually) on the right: that shirt/chest belongs to The Backstage Rider, aka Mikala Taylor.

We’ve written before about Backstage Rider, but the post has been permanently suspended in the space between this blog and a future site upgrade. This is a shame, because it was very flattering! She’s an awesome Canadian (a redundant phrase, that) based in Vancouver, BC who’s a serious music fan and even more serious music blogger. She’s also nice to strangers making a Black Flag Tribute Shirt, for which we thank her.

Why else is she cool? Besides having a Duran Duran fixation, she taught Lou Barlow how to tweet! What more cred do you need? The answer is none. None more cred.

This is our third post recapping some of our favorite shirt sightings thus far. It’s all to celebrate the re-release our MY WARdrobe: Black Flag Tribute Shirt in an exciting Everything Went Black Ink/Black Shirt edition on April 21, 2012.
